Role: Customer Support Team Leader

Location:- Remote – travel required to the London HQ

Zeelo is growing fast. We’re looking for a Customer support team leader to support our growth plans. We are looking for a qualified team leader to manage our team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.

As a team leader, you will be the main point of contact for all team members so your communication and interpersonal skills should be excellent. You should be able to act professionally and proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage and motivate the team to achieve the overall goals of the business.

What you’ll do

  • Create and inspire a positive team environment with an open communication culture
  • Set clear team goals which are reviewed regularly through 121s
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines
  • Oversee day to day operations
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics
  • Motivate team members through coaching and providing feedback
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching, support and guidance
  • Listen to team member feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
  • Recognise high performance and reward accomplishments
  • Encourage creativity and process improvements to improve overall customer experience
  • Suggest and organise regular team building activities

What makes you a good fit for the role

  • Experience as a team leader in a fast-paced environment, ideally a startup or scaleup business.
  • In depth knowledge of performance metrics and management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work cross functionally across pods
  • Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive information appropriately
  • Ability to work in a changing environment, proactively responding to changing requirements
  • Works well as part of a team but is a self-starter and can work independently
  • Previous experience using an ATS and Microsoft Office, Google workspace and Slack
  • Excellent organisational skills & time management skills
