What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?
Zedge seeks an experienced Product Owner to join our fast-paced organization. If you have a gift for thinking outside the box, enjoy solving difficult problems, and working with diverse agile teams, we want your help to keep us moving quickly as we scale our organization.
Product Owners at Zedge represent the customer at all stages of our development process, and are responsible for transforming the high-level vision of Product Managers into detailed requirements for our development Tribes. To do this, they work closely with a range of stakeholders for the product, including finance, marketing, and others to ensure all requirements for new development initiatives are clearly defined and communicated. Product Owners then groom the resulting tasks in JIRA, prioritize the backlog, and run all the SCRUM ceremonies for their Tribe: sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and initiative postmortems. They also participate in weekly Scrum of Scrums sessions for all Tribes, and are members of the Product Steering Group that approves and prioritizes new initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you must be a natural-born leader with a talent for project coordination and delegation. You will work closely with other members of the product management team, UX designers, your software development tribe and other groups across our organization to complete initiatives and launch products that require coordinating the efforts of multiple employees. You will identify dependencies and blockers, ensure they are resolved efficiently, and drive your tribe to complete all its work on schedule and within budget.
As Product Owner of Zedge’s Billing Tribe, you will support multiple Product Managers and other stakeholders across a variety of Zedge products, on any and all initiatives that have any monetization components. You should have experience managing multiple complete product development cycles, possess superior analytical abilities and expert product judgment. A successful candidate will have a technical background, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as great project management and communication competencies.
