Meta is looking for a Process Excellence Manager to join our Strategy & Transformation team that drives Recruiting transformation solutions from strategy to execution at the intersection of people, process & technology. We build and scale global programs to strengthen the impact of our world-class Recruiting Team. Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Meta’s success. In this role, you will be responsible for the process design, improvement and standardization with the goal of driving sustainable compliant change at scale. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategies and playbooks for Recruiting alongside key partners and stakeholders. Plugging into the Recruiting organization’s multi-year vision, you will scale processes in multiple formats leveraging what exists while also innovating and designing frameworks based on the needs of Recruiting. The ideal candidate will exhibit an ability to flex across each key lifecycle segment while being able to look across the ecosystem to understand upstream and downstream implications of all changes.
Process Excellence Manager Responsibilities:
- Design recruiting processes that drive for scalability, efficiency, velocity and enhanced candidate experience
- Conduct current-state assessment of business processes and drive improvements through variance reduction, waste elimination and standardization
- Create and maintain the global process governance in close partnership with the functional operations teams across Recruiting
- Work across recruiting functions to facilitate, develop, document and measure end-to-end processes utilizing process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques (i.e., VSM, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA, A3, Kaizen)
- Collaborate with key cross-functional partners during the roadmapping cycle to identify, influence and recommend impactful process solutions
- Facilitate regional and/or global process discovery workshops to support larger global recruiting initiatives & business requirements
- Provide ad-hoc process excellence support & influence Recruiting cross-functional teams on operational strategies & best practices
- Measure the outcomes and outputs of process improvement initiatives and leverage analytics & insights to inform direction of the business
- Partner with the Quality team and leverage, outline & analyze process health & quality metrics to drive continuous improvement of existing processes
- Develop Lean Champions program and deploy across the Process Excellence and Operations community to scale the process improvement knowledge and methodologies
- Proactively identify the important problems in support of company goals and create processes/solutions to address them
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or higher
- Experience creating and delivering presentations to a variety of stakeholders including senior-level leadership
- Extensive hands-on experience with continuous improvement principles and practices including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA, A3 and 5S
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt)
- Demonstrated experience building relationships with peers and senior stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
- Experience in process mapping and workflow design tools (i.e. MS Visio, Lucidchart, Blueworks)
- Experience thinking analytically and strategically about issues and influencing stakeholders, leadership and individual contributors at all levels
- Track record of operating independently and delivering results, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
- 7+ years experience in business process excellence with focus on fundamental continuous improvement, process management, and system thinking
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in program management within Recruiting or People Operations
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt)
- Experience working in a large, global tech company or other fast-paced environments
