About The Role
Confluent is at the forefront of the new category of data infrastructure forming around Data Streaming. The Analyst Relations Manager will help bring this category to life and establish the leadership role Confluent plays here. This strategic role will educate market influencers and bring external perspective back into the company to influence customer-led product and marketing strategies.
Your primary role will be expanding and strengthening relationships with leading analysts and influencers to share news and opinions on Confluent’s data streaming platform. This will include helping to build and implement a successful, results-oriented analyst relations program. As part of the Communications Team, you will work collaboratively to create and share information on Confluent with multiple global technology analysts.
What You Will Do:
- Serve as the relationship manager for select Tier 1 analyst firms.
- Establish and execute paid and earned tactics, working to help influence positive positioning for Confluent in reports and in analyst calls with clients.
- Lead response to major evaluations and execute briefings, inquiries, and strategy days to increase analyst understanding of our capabilities and competitive differentiation, and to enhance our product offerings and go-to-market execution strategies.
- Serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams by working proactively to maintain positive relationships with leading analysts.
- Partner with Customer Marketing and Customer Success to support analyst ranking evaluations and peer review platforms by influencing user perspectives and customer voices into our analyst program.
- Manage collection, analysis and distribution of key analysts insights and reports to internal stakeholders to foster an outside-in perspective throughout the organization.
- Build internal AR reports and dashboards to track ROI and metrics, helping amplify success and track value of AR.
What You Will Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in analyst relations experience the high tech industry
- Experience working with technology industry analyst firms
- Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams e.g., product, product marketing, PR, etc.
- Solid organizational skills with the capacity to work on multiple projects and competing deadlines in a highly dynamic work environment
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills Ideally familiar with AR system (like ARchitect) to help track engagements and distribute news
