The Role:
The ForgeRock Autonomous Engineering team is building the next generation of identity and access management powered by AI/ML approaches. The team is rapidly evolving the Autonomous Identity solution to address key use cases in cybersecurity, consumer privacy and regulatory compliance. This role will contribute to development of various features for core services in Autonomous products stack.
What you’ll be doing:
- Serve as an expert for Google services including Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Firestore, GKE and AI Platform
- Design and implement HA and DR features for Google services
- Design and implement automation for health checks, scale up and scale down for overall deployment
- Work with key stakeholders to establish and implement policies for IAM, security, and data lifecycle.
- Contribute to DevOps automation as part of Autonomous CI/CD into
- Establish KPIs for various application use cases and implement observability primitives
- Author alert rules and work with the SRE team to build Grafana dashboards to monitor product workloads and GCP services they depend on.
- Participate in on-call rotation for the Autonomous set of services.

- 2+ years experience administering Google Dataflow, Dataproc, Datastore, Big Query, VPC, IAM and other GCP services
- Expert level understanding of Google Logging/Stackdriver and its configuration to support monitoring and alerting for Google data services
- Proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana
- Knowledge of Git Ops approach to configuration management
- Expertise in operating Google Kubernetes Engine and integration with Google data services
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform.
- Google Cloud Architect certification is plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
