What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

We're looking for a Front End Engineer, with intermediate experience, to join the Engineering team. The Front End Engineer will report directly to the Director, Front End Engineering. We’re making healthcare better by smartly using technology to leverage great ideas garnered from a deep understanding of the market. Flume is building the first modern health plan administration platform—with the mission to become the operating system of every health plan in the US. In doing so, we're using software to replace mostly paper-based processes in a $30B+ industry. Companies from small health start-ups to billion-dollar insurance incumbents use Flume OS to design & launch fully configured, modern health plans in months (not years).

Flume has entered a new phase of growth, both in terms of sales and investment. We’re expanding our team of engineers to fulfill many more of our market changing ideas. Together we are creating a new constellation of beautifully designed, industry defining tools. 

Ideal candidates will have experience in React Hooks and/or TypeScript.

What you will do

  • Assist in planning a new suite of user-focused experiences.
  • Use React Hooks to build a robust constellation of components. 
  • Find, learn and build with other great new technologies. 
  • Participate in code reviews. 

What you will need

  • 2+ years of combined experience building web applications from: full-time positions, contract roles, internships, or bootcamps.
  • An understanding of responsive design.
  • Ability to work independently while regularly garnering instruction and feedback.
  • An eye for design.
  • A love of craft and clean code.

Compensation Range – $100-140,000
