Our team is looking for a customer-obsessed Sr Technical Program Manager to join us and help us continue to raise the bar for what we deliver. The ACME team within AWS Global Services focuses on two main objectives. One being to build automation solutions that help AWS Global Services scale to reach thousands of enterprise customers. The other objective is to identify needs or pain points for ourselves and external AWS customers, and build tools or services to solve those problems. We are free to build anything that has impact and value, and you can be the one to suggest the next big thing we build!
The Technical Program Manager defines technical and functional requirements that this team can deliver against. The role straddles business and engineering domains and is responsible for translating customer strategy and requirements to technical and functional design. The TPM drives work breakdown, user story elaboration, grooming and execution planning. The TPM together with the rest of the team drives execution of sprints and achieves incremental delivery of capabilities. The TPM seeks continuous feedback from the customer and users to adapt and refine the technical design.
You would be ideal for this role if you have demonstrated skills in understanding business requirements for large enterprises or complex product scenarios, you have independently proposed detailed and innovative technical solution design, and have led engineering teams in executing high quality software. You take ownership of the problem and software product that you work on and are hands on in analysis of gaps and resolution of issues. You are data driven and at ease with data analysis. You have familiarity with software development platforms and processes, are at ease with agile scrum, kanban, and have helped evolve these processes for your teams. You have demonstrated experience in interfacing with a broad set of stakeholders, managing communications at multiple levels and are an effective collaborator.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical program management experience
- 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of Agile scrum including driving adoption & refinement of the process
- Experience in large enterprise IT, owning and managing programs and products for high scale and business complexity
- Skills in data analysis
- Experience working with large and diverse software engineering teams
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $148700 – 201200[year]; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
