As a Digital Analyst at Lulus Fashion Lounge you will work across the analytics lifecycle to deliver a broad range of data, reporting, and analyses that provide both deep and quick-turn insight into our customers and operations to inform tactics and strategy across our business. You will work with the Optimization & Insights team to drive topical analyses ranging from customer relationship management to digital engagement and commerce to opportunity identification. You will work collaboratively with business and technical leads to design, build, and deliver insights by querying multiple data sources, applying the appropriate statistical tools, and integrating the insights back into our reporting & discovery platforms to guarantee consistent results are delivered to our stakeholders. You will ensure a sharp focus on the accuracy and interpretability of results and strive to build and maintain automated, repeatable processes to help speed the path to insight on future projects and support a platform of insights that is always on. You will be a key organizational liaison, helping translate business problems into analytics workstream projects and flowing the complex output of your analyses into concrete, intuitive, actionable recommendations for business and/or product improvement.
What You’ll Do

Leverage an understanding of statistics and mathematics, combined with technical know-how, to turn data discoveries into cogent, actionable insights for business stakeholders

Navigate data of all shapes and sizes and leverage different tools and techniques to solve the problem at hand

Leverage a fine mix of technical and communication skills to translate key questions into data acquisition processes, data sets, statistical models and analysis that answer those questions

Communicate clearly and consistently to both technical and non-technical audiences by translating analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business

Leverage strong writing, data visualization and communication skills to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders

Apply quantitative thinking and methods to answer difficult business questions from the perspective of data

Execute an analytics pipeline supporting multiple levels of the organization via a broad array of analytical activities, spanning basic reporting and visualization of data, to creating statistical models that describe complex business processes and phenomena

Transform & effectively translate web scale data into concrete, actionable insights that solve day-to-day operational challenges and inform strategic decision making at all levels of the organization
What You’ll Need
-
Bachelors degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, engineering or other quantitative discipline required

1-3 years experience as a data analyst, business analyst, operations analyst, statistician, or similar role required

Demonstrable, hands on experience leveraging statistical methods (inference, experimentation/hypothesis testing, modeling) to solve practical business problems

Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills including complex query construction and optimization

Intermediate to Advanced skills with an analytics-oriented programming language and experience developing functional, reusable analytics pipelines [Python, R, Julia, etc.]

Experience developing & deploying complex visualizations on modern reporting & analysis platforms [Tableau, Looker, Mode, etc.]

Experience with core web analytics tools [Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.]
