Job Description
CVS Healthcare is looking for a MQ Admin / Systems Engineer to become a member of a team that design, configure, build, and maintain a variety of MQ environments on premise and in the public cloud in support of the Enterprise Healthcare, Retail, and Pharmacy businesses. The ideal candidate must embrace technology, be open to learning, building new solutions, and be a technical evangelist viewing technology as a solution to advance our consumer engagement and best in class experience. Ability to work off hours including nights and weekends and be on call in a team rotational schedule.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of IBM MQ Administration at the system level
Experience with MQ installs (zOS and distributed) and support (version 7+)
Experience working with mainframe, UNIX/Linux systems, or Window Servers
Ability to network and partner with business applications and technical teams
Ability and willingness to work on an on-call rotating schedule
This role requires candidate to be fully vaccinated for COVID 19

Preferred Qualifications
Coding experience with IIS, C#, .Net and Unix Shell scripting
Experience using automation with Ansible automation (for middleware platforms)
Experience using JCL (Job Control Language) to run batch jobs
Knowledge of IBM Db2 Family
Some Java experience or knowledge
Powershell scripting experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
