ABOUT LEARN TO BE
Learn To Be is a 501c3 non-profit bringing free, 1-on-1, online tutoring to underserved youth around the United States. We pair our volunteer tutors to work 1-on-1 with our diverse cohort of students including foster youth, homeless youth, and students attending Title 1 schools. To date, we have hosted over 115,000 hours of tutoring for over 4,000 students.
JOB OVERVIEW
We are hiring a Recruitment and Partnership Coordinator to play two key roles: Student recruitment and partnership recruitment.
On the student recruitment side, you will create a sustained recruitment pipeline and ultimately help us scale our efforts and fulfill our mission of bringing 1-on-1, online tutoring to every child who needs it.
On the student partnerships side, you will search around the nation for organizations that are looking to expand their programming to online tutoring.
As a small start-up, there are times where we’ll need all hands on deck. In this position, you might find yourself hosting onboarding with our current tutors, helping our Junior Board of Directors, creating decks for presentations and testing out new features on our website.
We’re looking for an empathetic and passionate individual to help Learn To Be tutors, students, and families best utilize our platform. This position will require the candidate to wear many hats so someone who is very organized will excel in this role. A successful candidate must also write and communicate effectively. The bulk of our work is written, from email or Slack communication to documentation on Google Drive.
This position will report directly to our Operations Manager.
