About Canopy:
Canopy is a fast-growing SaaS startup in Draper, Utah building simple, efficient software for accounting firms. We are looking to revolutionize the accounting space with modern, user-friendly software for a neglected industry. We are looking for an engineer to join our DevOps team and help us build scalable processes and tooling to support our Product Development teams and provide a reliable platform for them to deliver value to customers faster and more reliably than ever have before.
What You’ll Do:
You will help our teams to live by the mantra, “You build it, you run it.” Ultimately our Product Development teams own the operations for their services but you will be their champion. As a DevOps Engineer you will be providing the tools and expertise to help our Product Development squads be successful in scaling their services and maintaining high reliability all while increasing their release velocity. You will help Canopy understand and practice SRE concepts. You will own projects to improve overall reliability such as Chaos Engineering. This role requires high levels of collaboration with the teams, to help them solve operational challenges. You will provide support for Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, AWS, and Gitlab.
Your Skills Include:
- Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineer
- AWS
- Terraform (bonus points for Terragrunt and other Hashicorp tools)
- ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize
- Python
- Docker
- Datadog
- GitLab
