Sana is seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Payment Operations Lead to join our emerging Finance Team. As Payment Operations Lead, you will work cross-functionally to drive the development of Sana’s payment infrastructure and manage capital flows within Sana’s business.

What you will do
- Manage Sana’s system of internal accounts to ensure that all capital transfers proceed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Work with Engineering to develop new processes and systems that enhance Sana’s ability to collect premiums at scale.
- Work with Operations to develop a flexible payments system for Sana’s members and providers.
- Work with Finance to track and categorize payment flows at scale.
- Develop rigorous process documentation that defines how Sana’s financial processes are carried out.
- Pioneer new payments solutions that will allow Sana to pursue a greater variety of billing practices to accommodate customer preferences.
About you
- 3+ years of relevant experience. Many types of backgrounds, including accounting, traditional finance, financial technology, management consulting, and others will be considered.
- Extreme attention to detail. You must really enjoy getting in the weeds to find subtle problems in mountains of data.
- Naturally technical. You’re comfortable working with engineers to develop and implement new software solutions to complex problems.
- Process-driven. You should really enjoy perfecting, documenting, and scaling new processes.
- Knowledge of standard banking and payments infrastructure.
- Fluency with SQL in particular and data analytics in general.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and ERP software.
- Familiarity with third party financial software, e.g Plaid.
- Business process mapping and management experience.
