The ideal Technical Architect is a demonstrated thought leader in technical aspects of customer and partner engagements. Technical Architects deliver complex, tailored solutions to meet the customer’s business and technical requirements. They focus on the following domains: data, scripting, process flow, API and integrations. Technical Architects lead the technical project, including evaluation of options and subsequent presentation and education of the customer/partner. They will also identify and proactively manage risk areas, and commit to seeing issues through to complete resolution and may lead other consultants as part of the customer engagement.
Help clients consistently meet/exceed goals and metrics
Provides technical consultation on various aspects of the product and solutions based on the customer’s business requirements
Participate in the creation of an actionable BRD/FSD (Blueprint) that aligns a customer’s technical business needs to that of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solution
Executes development and advanced configuration activities per assigned work orders
Identify project issues / risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve
Validates solution components and provide solution walkthrough with customer
Develops specialties in Salesforce Marketing Cloud data management, scripting languages, API, and app platform
Provide feedback to internal teams and leadership on project completion
Be receptive to feedback from internal teams and leadership on project completion

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
BA/BS degree, foreign equivalent, or equivalent work experience
Relevant Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform development experience
Marketing Cloud Admin and Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certifications
5+ years’ experience working with an RDBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server
5+ years’ experience with SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration techniques
Familiarity with security standards such as TLS, SSL, SSO and data encryption
Experience in the interactive marketing industry
Experience documenting customer problems and software solutions using BRDsFSDs, wireframes, diagrams, workflows and mockups
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
Specializes in gathering and analyzing information and designing comprehensive solutions that are flexible and adaptable
Ability to travel to client site (average of 50%), but may be higher or lower based on the client engagement
