The Marketing & Communications team is responsible for connecting the world to lifelong transformative learning. They also work to shape public conversations on the future of education and work. The team is segmented into four areas of focus: Consumer Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Brand & Creative, and Communications. The team is currently focused on expanding the reach of Coursera’s brand and bringing new learners to the site, connecting students to degree programs, attracting new enterprise customers — including businesses, governments, and campuses — and creating a marketing system that nurtures learners throughout their professional lives.
The Global Communications team is responsible for connecting the world to lifelong learning and shaping public conversations about the future of education and work. As Enterprise PR Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global PR strategy for Coursera for Business, Coursera for Governments and Coursera for Campus. In partnership with other PR Managers, you will lead the full gamut of PR activities — strategic planning, media strategy, executive thought leadership, agency management, and asset development,. You will also be responsible for coordinating with regional enterprise PR managers and agencies across key markets like the UK, India, Colombia, UAE, and more. As a key member of the global comms team, you will be integrated into many of our strategic cross-functional initiatives, with active hands-on experience and participation in high visibility initiatives. You will also be responsible for managing our growing analyst relations program.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the global enterprise PR strategy; thoughtfully communicate Coursera’s leadership role in equipping individuals and institutions with skills to navigate the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the post-COVID economic landscape.
- Grow Coursera’s voice on the future of work, higher education, and workforce development. Expand our enterprise narrative with insight-led PR, placements in top-tier outlets, and thought-leadership forums
- Lead strategic planning and messaging around major customer, partner, and product announcements. Take a lead role in drafting global PR collateral such as PR plans, briefing books, blog posts, and press releases for these announcements.
- Work closely with Coursera executives to develop keynotes, prepare for media interviews, and guide planning for strategic initiatives; Build on a strong thought leadership program with speaker placements, reports, awards, and opinion articles that amplify our corporate and enterprise strategy
- Collaborate with enterprise marketing, customer success, and sales teams to identify PR opportunities and secure customer/partner participation in PR initiatives that thoughtfully highlight the skills imperatives of digital transformation.
- Coordinate initiatives with leading global institutions like the World Economic Forum, the World Bank, and the UNESCO
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of PR experience with an exceptional track record of executing PR strategy for leading enterprise software, platform companies, and workforce development organizations. A similar experience in leading PR agencies will also be considered.
- Demonstrated history in ideating PR messaging and converting it into simple, authentic, and inspiring writing across an array of communications artifacts
- Ability to use data and insights to power thought leadership and media conversations
- Experience partnering with senior executives on media relations, keynotes, and strategic planning
- Experience with cross-functional coordination and global agency management skills. Drive decision-making across multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Track Record of working with technology companies that are solving global challenges
- Experience managing analyst relations programs
- Demonstrated history managing globally coordinated announcements
