Who You Are:

What You Will Do:

As a Financial Analyst, you are an integral member of the finance organization with key deliverables that provide frequent exposure to the Formstack leadership team. The Financial Analyst will have tasks including but not limited to monthly forecasting and analysis of operating results, cash flow forecasting, annual budgeting, financial modeling for strategic business cases and M&A/corporate development initiatives, analysis of customer trends, SaaS/revenue metrics and KPIs, and preparing and presenting PowerPoint decks that clearly summarize key findings to the company’s leaders. This role provides the opportunity to be a strong business partner that helps chart a course to growing revenue, maximizing profitability, and keeping the organization focused on the trends, risks and opportunities most critical to success.

How You Will Succeed: 

  • Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and operational budgets.
  • Provide proactive financial counsel with business leaders in planning, measuring, reporting and improving performance.
  • Prepare, analyze and present monthly, quarterly and annual results to internal management, Private Equity investors and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial and management reporting.
    Handle special assignments from the supervisor, which are routine to moderately complex.
  • Report and communicate with several levels of management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Practice good organization and time management, keeping multiple projects on track for successful completion at the same time.
  • Be a curious, self-motivated individual who constantly seeks to better understand and improve the Finance department and the company.

What We Are Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Analysis/Operations or a similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining financial forecasts and operational budgets. Detailed knowledge and understanding of financial statements and their relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling (integrated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working for a Private Equity-backed company.
  • Experience working for SaaS/technology-oriented companies.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, Zuora, NetSuite, Looker and other related back-office or data analysis tools.
