What You’ll Do:
Own legal support for go-to-market and commercial contracting
Lead cross functional initiatives and collaborate with and support a wide variety of departments including go-to-market leadership and finance
Ensure the team’s delivery of practical approaches to problem solving
Develop, implement and continually improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency of the legal team to support the company’s hyper growth.
Motivate and empower a highly functional team with a strong sense of customer service to the business.
Drive the completion of multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced and high energy environment, including the implementation of a contracts management system.
What You’ll Need to Have:
10+ years’ experience as a qualified attorney, including a substantial period as a leader within a legal department of a leading software or technology company
Significant experience managing and growing a team
Excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills across a wide array of contracting vehicles
Comfortable and adept at teaming with GTM leadership in fast-paced, customer-facing transactions
Attention to detail and a willingness to get into the details and drive creative solutions
Ability to think on the fly and drive efficient deal process and fast decision making
Superior business judgment and the ability to address complex opportunities and issues in creative and effective ways
Ability to understand our product and platform in an in depth manner to effectively support the GTM team
Operational mind that can influence & build strong scalable processes as we grow
Specific experience in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
Significant experience counseling global organizations on commercial and compliance issues
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to create and sustain lasting relationships with customers and management
