What We Need

The Email Marketing Associate plays a critical role in Maisonette’s retention marketing efforts. This position is responsible for aiding in the management and scaling of our campaigns program through partnership with brand content, creative, and lifecycle marketing partners to drive traffic, revenue, and customer retention. Additionally, this person will be responsible for leading the creation/project management/deployment of all adhoc campaigns as well as managing tracking and internal reporting dashboards.  

What You'll Do

  • Own the day-to-day of all Maisonette Adhoc Campaigns 
  • Design and execute email campaigns to drive business results as measured by ROI analysis and KPI goals
  • Manage email campaign scheduling, setup, and testing
  • Own the Ad Sales program for the email channel
  • Create and own audience specific strategies and KPIs, leveraging our CRM database, suggest new segmentation tactics to optimize for repeat rate and organic sessions to site from email
  • Manage the monthly email calendar
  • Project manage with other team members via Asana for copy, imagery, links, products, etc.
  • Ensure all campaigns are optimized and tested to achieve the best results using A/B testing for
    • Subject lines and/or preheaders
    • Dynamic content
    • Email layouts
    • Imagery type (for ex: lookbook vs editorial)
    • Send times 
    • Audiences
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance, providing recommendations and data to brand teams and management

  • Create structure and processes with Merch, Creative & Copy to ensure workflow optimization
  • Research and stay ahead of best practices, digital innovation, strategies, and industry standards, exploring new email marketing opportunities and formulating proposals for how they can be leveraged
  • Come up with and create new edit links in SLI based on industry trends (eyelet, tie-dye, cottagecore etc.) as well as reuse and refresh existing LPCs with help of site team

Necessary Background

  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing
  • Experience in Klaviyo preferred but not required
  • Experience with email/content creation and analytics
  • Graphic design experience strongly preferred ideally photoshop
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and creative direction
  • Entrepreneurial spirit & true interest in digital marketing
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel, with proficiency in rest of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong writing & communication skills
  • Metric driven, logical, creative, and curious
  • Strong project management & organizational skills
