What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

As a Business Development Manager at Nightfall, you’ll develop Nightfall’s partnership strategy, broaden the reach of our data protection platform, and help enable our partners to see value & success with Nightfall. You will source, drive, and build relationships with strategic partners & alliances. You’ll identify and articulate how Nightfall can unlock significant value for our partners and bring efficiency and efficacy to their data protection initiatives. You’ll be a trusted resource for our partners, via deep respect & appreciation. With a general manager’s mentality, you find delight in building successful businesses – for both our partners and Nightfall. Your passion for bringing efficacy and efficiency to data protection should drive you through the entire organization as you collaborate cross-functionally and advocate for our partners’ success.


    • Drive adoption of Nightfall’s platform among companies offering software products and services to businesses and business users
    • Own the growth of Nightfall’s partner ecosystem while facilitating product and platform collaboration between partners and internal product teams
    • Understand and communicate market opportunities, trends, needs, and partner feedback to cross-functional teams
    • Develop mutually beneficial and trusting relationships with partners – make Nightfall a favored company with which to partner
    • Define, test, measure, and iterate upon partnerships strategies and execute on go-to-market plans
    • Develop collateral and resources to enable partners and help articulate Nightfall’s unique value proposition


    • 4+ years of relevant business development experience8+ years overall work experience
    • Passion about information security, data protection, machine learning, and the problem we are solving
    • A thought leader who drives business forward and keeps our team ahead of trends
    • Great track record of sourcing, developing, and maintaining partner relationships
    • Strong product sensibility, and comfort with basic technical feasibility of partner integrations
    • Experience developing first-of-kind, strategic deals which are creative and align business incentives with great user experiences
    • Executive presence in working with senior leadership within Nightfall and within partner organizations
    • Strong writing, collaboration, interpersonal, prioritization skills with a passion for robust documentation
    • In-depth experience operating within and leading cross-functional teams (product management, customer success, legal, finance, marketing, etc.)
