We do this by implementing operational systems, connecting teams and knowledge, and problem solving operational hurdles to enable Researchers to do their most impactful work. In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders in Sourcing and Legal to operationalize the UX Research Purchasing process. We’re looking for someone that is able to facilitate our teams’ best work by driving and delivering projects to completion – managing timelines, anticipating project issues and resolving them, connecting resources to research needs, and removing barriers to doing great work. The ideal candidate has a track record of managing high volume programs, working in dynamic environments, and developing creative solutions to remove challenging stakeholder roadblocks. This role requires program management experience and broad Purchasing and Procurement knowledge. Communication skills, relationship management, the ability to manage complex logistics, and an organized approach are mandatory.

Business Operations Program Manager, Purchasing Responsibilities:

  • Create, scale and execute strategic programs to operationalize the UX Research Purchasing process, including Contract and Purchase Order facilitation
  • Collaborate with Meta Program Managers and stakeholders to address SOW/Contract processes and ensure they meet regulatory requirements – predicting roadblocks, identifying creative solutions, and finding resources
  • Lead a team of Business Operations coordinators
  • Foster strong partnerships with cross functional partners and Research stakeholders across all levels to identify and address team needs and challenges
  • Proactively manage expectations: define clear program roadmaps, provide frequent program updates, identify and communicate risks and adjustments, and ensure commitments are delivered
  • Hold the line when program progress is in jeopardy while maintaining relationships
  • Prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions
  • Develop education and training initiatives around UXR procurement processes
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives across the Business Operations team and broader Research Operations organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant or related Program or Project Management experience
  • Demonstrable experience owning high-impact, time sensitive escalations and driving alignment by facilitating challenging stakeholder conversations
  • Experience working in procurement or compliance environments
  • Communication skills for interacting with, influencing and tailoring messaging to researchers, leadership, and external partners
  • Experience developing effective partnerships with peers, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams globally
  • Track record of building scalable operations, familiarity with complex process development, implementation and iterative improvement
  • Experience juggling competing priorities and effectively managing stakeholders expectations through an organized approach
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of vendor partnerships, or in-house agency experience
  • Experience in data analysis, SQL and Data Visualization Tools (Tableau, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Experience working directly with UX researchers and/or product designers
  • Experience working with International partners and teams
