Director, Channel and Partnership Sales (West)

We are looking for a Director, Channel and Partnership Sales, who can grow our strategic enterprise reseller partnerships, and help us exceed our business goals. As a National Channel Account Manager, you will play a key role in helping to develop and grow our largest national partner’s business.  This role will be responsible for executing a top down approach to mindshare, growth and effective partnership within our largest partner accounts.  They will collaborate with the field channel sales managers in region to impact opportunity generation and channel revenue.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate at senior executive levels while leading impactful channel sales partnerships. Act as the central point of contact for select partners.
  • Lead the go-to-market plan & activities for the partnership(s).
  • Coordinate internal activities aligned with select partner activity.
  • Develop and implement joint partner business plans.
  • Work closely with the regional sales team and channel sales managers to define, build and execute the partnership plan to support growth & minimize channel conflict.
  • Collaborate and form partnerships with marketing, product, legal and other departments as necessary.
  • Drive regular communication and evangelism promoting the success of the partnership. Lead regular business performance/relationship reviews with local management. Promote joint sales activities including field-level account mappings, and deal closure with the respective sales teams.
  • Achieve/exceed revenue and objective targets for partnerships.
  • Evolve and grow the partnerships by identifying additional routes to market. Provide financial analyses and long-range forecasting for identified partnerships.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of successful Channel/Partner Management experience operating at a senior level.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Experience managing partnerships with large enterprise resellers
  • Consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets & business objectives.
  • Adept at moving quickly between tactical execution and high-level critical thinking and organization.
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a matrix environment.

In accordance with applicable law, Fastly’s minimum base pay for this role if hired in Colorado is $207,000 per year, which includes an annual base salary of $155,250 and the ability to earn $51,750 in commission target compensation. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity plan. Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations. Note that this role is available to candidates outside of Colorado and different minimum compensation may apply.
