What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

Role:

PatientsLikeMe is aggressively pursuing a new growth strategy that supports the firm’s mission of redefining healthcare around the patient experience. We are looking for a new remote Content Marketing Manager to help reimagine and implement the firm’s strategic marketing plan. This is an exciting opportunity that will contain a mix of strategic and operational responsibilities, reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing. The successful candidate will be passionate about elevating the patient voice, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and work alongside their team to make sure the job gets done. While job responsibilities will evolve, the primary areas of focus include all content creation related activities, working with Marketing Team and various other functions in the organization to meet internal and client goals by creating engaging content across social media and paid campaigns.

Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee content creation activities including development, maintenance, and management of content marketing calendar and workflows
  • Manage content marketing initiatives, optimizing for search intent to drive traffic, fostering community sign-up, driving engagement, link building efforts, social sharing, and membership retention initiatives
  • Development and implementation of editorial governance standards consistent with brand voice, quality, style, and tone
  • Deployment of best practice standards (both human and technological) for creation, distribution, maintenance, retrieval, and repurposing efforts
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making when prioritizing, analyzing, and optimizing content performance
  • Cultivate standards, systems, and data analysis best practices for content development
  • Arbiter of content best practices for grammar, brand messaging, writing, and style
  • Work with product and technical team to implement appropriate CMS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful digital marketing experience with content marketing focus and broad understanding of entire digital ecosystem, including paid media, email, SEO, and social media marketing tactics
  • Minimum 3-5 years of creative content development experience including video (development and production), blog/website, email, social media (organic and paid), landing pages, and graphics
  • Solid analytical capabilities and content project management skills with strong attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude, and a results-driven, collaborative orientation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skillset with copywriting emphasis and demonstrated leadership working as part of a cross-functional team
  • Long-form and short-form blog/website content experience, including skyscraper content, gated content, and link magnet content development
  • Familiarity with Google Marketing Platform tools, including Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, Google Ads), working knowledge of HTML
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with 3rd party online marketing software and tools, such as SEMrush, Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Marketo/HubSpot and Google Marketing Platform, including Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Survey and Optimize
  • Experience and familiarity with content management systems, including WordPress and working knowledge of HTML
  • Healthcare content marketing preferred

$70,000/yr – $85,000/yr

Additional compensation range
