Job Summary:

The Social Media Associate will develop and execute media plans to drive growth for the enterprise across Allstate’s social initiatives, including the Allstate Foundation. This individual will work collaboratively across marketing and corporate brand teams, including the Social Center of Excellence as well as work and assist on various in-house media projects, such as insertion orders, contracts, budget management, and internal communications. This individual will work collaboratively with others on the Allstate Media Team to assist on various projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, execution, and internal communication process of social media plans
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategy and development across various initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Manage detailed media budget documents across product lines
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making and process implementation on the media team
  • May include presenting to leadership and large audiences
  • Developing direct relationships with media vendors; facilitates internal vendor meetings with broader teams


  • Bachelor’s degree required – Marketing or Communications concentration preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of media planning/buying experience-media advertising agency or social media experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organization required
  • Strong negotiation skills required
  • Ability to provide insightful feedback and make effective decisions
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to effectively understand data, analyze results, draw insights and conclusions, and recommend appropriate actions in an atmosphere of fact-based decision-making
  • Strong communication skills both written and presentation

Compensation offered for this role is $56,600.00-$77,000.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
