Job Description
As a Director, Campaign Architecture and Strategy you will have a high impact on communication programs that drive interventions to a base of over 80M members. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, executing and tracking CVS Health’s Caremark PBM campaigns through the use of our Marketing Database and Campaign Management platforms. You will work across communication life stages to develop and implement multi-channel, multi-touch member programs using CRM campaign management tools. CVS Health will leverage your skills to strengthen the relationship with patients through flawless campaign development and execution.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Data Engineering, this position will achieve excellence in Campaign Management, building a high-performing team to achieve the goals and objectives, driving continuous process improvement, working with Business/Marketing/Product and Information Technology teams to design, develop and rollout campaigns and work with various internal teams and managed services ensuring quality of campaign deliverables.

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Provides strategic leadership and oversee internal teams to deliver flawless campaign targeting list pull execution.

• Collaborates with Product, Marketing and Account Teams in managing and operationalizing outbound campaign communications.

• Defines and documents business rules that translate campaign requirements into technical specifications.

• Provides ongoing support, insight and guidance to Product, Marketing and Account Teams regarding current campaigns – operational status by way of daily interactions and weekly status call.

• Identifies and documents CRM system functional requirements to expand campaign management capabilities. Assists CRM development team in activating new functionality.

• Creates training programs to help team members become proficient in using the CRM system and understanding the overall campaign targeting process.

• Leads the day-to-day management of projects to create campaign deliverables, including managing the implementation, tracking and measurement of campaigns-on time and within budget.

• Responsible for meeting campaign targeting production deadlines and process improvement.

• Develops and manages overall team portfolio, comprised of project plans and timelines; ensures full alignment across internal and external stakeholders / partners and provide mechanism for measurement and continuous improvement.

• Ensures campaigns are appropriately QA tested end-to-end, before being promoted to production for execution.

• Provide and be knowledgeable in “best practices” in campaign development to optimize efficiency and quality of deliverables; implement and support automation for “lights-out” communications.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy and security regulations and policies as they relate to client and patient data.

• Identifies and monitors relevant operational metrics and business KPI’s, as well as operational effectiveness and accuracy of the campaigns

• Works with IT Production Operations team to ensure control objectives are implemented for all campaign processes; follow proper change management and incident management procedures.

• Proactively assesses and recommend operational best-practices and work to ensure standardization and efficiencies, as well as identify opportunities to improve and/or add to the suite of campaign management tools and related processes and resources.

• Manages the campaign change management process.

Required Qualifications
• A minimum of 7-10 years of patient marketing, database marketing, CRM, marketing, account management, project management and/or other related roles required; including hands-on experience with off the shelf operational campaign management and CRM technologies.

• 7+ years of CRM technical and functional expertise in developing and integrating multi-channel campaigns, including experience with campaign management tool experience (Aprimo, Unica, or similar).

• 7+ years of Experience operationalizing email marketing, direct mail, data entry, telemarketing (inbound and outbound) and digital marketing programs.

Preferred Qualifications
• Healthcare/Life Sciences/Retail/Financial industry experience preferred.

• Understanding of PBM Industry and Mail Pharmacy applications.

• Experience with Marketing Resource Management tools is a plus.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Teradata/SAS/ANSI SQL/R/Python.

• Expertise in database testing in database platforms like Teradata and Oracle including designing and manipulating test data.

• Demonstrated project management skills to manage multi-faceted, complex CRM programs both internally and with external partners/suppliers.

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically to define short, mid and long-term goals and execute on those goals, including developing accurate short and long term plans, forecasting and business analysis. Ensures timely execution and follow-up. Anticipates problems and roadblocks to avoid crisis management.

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Project and Visio. Microsoft Project or similar experience highly desired.

Education
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required. Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing or other data related fields preferred.
