Job Description
The Director of Client Engagement engineering, reporting to Head of Digital Engineering, Client Success, will work with the Enterprise Digital Team and PBM teams to develop and execute Digital PBM Client engagement strategy. The Director of Client Engagement engineering is the engineering and line management leader and works closely business leaders and cross functionally with Architecture, Product, Design, and the Agile Transformation Office leadership team to ensure all opportunities to build industry leading digital assets are realized.

• Responsible for leading the design, implementation and maintenance associated with caremark.com white labeling and platform modernization efforts
• Responsible of consolidation and streamlining of Client work intake for Digital and meet all SLA’s as per the contracts
• Fiscal management including the development of annual capital and expense budgets and compliance management

Required Qualifications
• 10+ years’ experience in systems analysis and application program development
• 10+ years’ experience managing large software development teams
• 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Manager level
• 3+ years’ experience in building Enterprise solutions and managing client requirements and technical solution
• Proven track record in managing large, multiple, complex and integrated development projects with a budget responsibility of 5+ million
• Extensive knowledge of the system development life cycle, systems, and application program development alternatives
• Proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes
• At least 3+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies. Possess a track record developing in GCP/Azure or similar public cloud environments
• At least 3+ years of Experience with programming languages/tools including: Nodejs, Angular and Springboot • Have managed at least 1 to 3 managers
• 5 or more years of experience with Agile software development

• Prior experience as an Engineering Manager or Director of Engineering at an established, high-growth technology company.
• Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control
• Prior experience with migrating legacy to modern tech stacks
• Strong experience in Scrum/Agile and an interest in helping the team develop agreements and processes around that methodology and increase the velocity of the teams

Education
