Our Journey
In May of 2021, Zeta secured a $250 million investment from SoftBank Vision Fund 2 in one of the largest ever single investments in a banking tech startup globally. This investment, coupled with Zeta’s growth trajectory, has increased Zeta’s previous valuation of $300 million to a current valuation of $1.45 billion resulting in unicorn status. Zeta now operates in 8 countries and to date has issued more than 10 million cards globally. 
Zeta has built the industry’s most modern digital cloud native platform in the industry, consisting of new age prepaid / debit / credit issuance digital products for banks, retailers and fintech issuers. These products provide a new age (“Apple card like”) user experience and enables Financial Institutions to rapidly deliver digital-first modern payment solutions including credit / debit / prepaid, digital banking, gifting, benefits, DDA, commercial card, expense management and money transfer. Role Responsibilities

Reporting into Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with Zeta’s prospects during late stages of the sales cycle to successfully transition the sale from prospect to implementation.
 
Key responsibilities
    • Work very closely with the Zeta Program manager & the customer to create the detailed Implementation plan
    • Work with the Solution Architect & the customer to discuss, understand and document the requirements
    • Translate the requirements into product configuration parameters as needed by the Zeta system
    • Work with the offshore based implementation team to get the platform configured
    • Run tests to make sure the configured system is working as per the requirements
    • Understand any custom development or integrations are needed, work with the predominantly offshore based customization teams to get these components built, tested and delivered
    • Provide feedback into the product backlog based on client feedback and implementation experience
    • Create and update Implementation playbooks
 
Year One Success Metrics
In this role you are expected to:
  • Create repeatable and scalable processes – industry’s first credit card as a service Implementation playbook. 
  • Carry out 4-6 successful implementations

Experience Requirements

    • Overview
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in a large, sophisticated credit granting or Risk Management/Finance organization within a major consumer card, financial services, retailing or consulting business. Their experience will have been gained in high volume, medium-to high risk environments, where risk assessment, technological sophistication, and data mining techniques are critical to their success. 
 
A. Experience
    • 5+ years of credit card portfolio management experience.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who have hands on experience of configuring and implementing one or more of the platforms – Fiserv/Tsys/Firstdata/Marqeta
    • Strong analytical skills to pull data, conduct data analysis, and drive Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
    • Organized, detail oriented, flexible, self-starter and highly motivated.
    • Strong communications and presentation skills.
    • Ability to collaborate well with teammates and business partners and influence business decisions
 
B. Specific knowledge
    • Experience in implementing any of the platforms – Tsys, Fiserv, First Data, Marqeta etc.
    • Good domain knowledge of market landscape and understanding of core banking systems and related ecosystem of payments, credit card, issuing services, fraud, digital and related solutions. 
 
C. General Skills
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and tech savvy
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills – able to influence and manage the expectations of senior executives internally and externally.
  • Adaptable, approachable, open-minded with a clear understanding of the business; The incumbent must bring the ability and orientation to contribute beyond their scope of work.
  • Ability to perform as an individual contributor (in-direct team leader) and as a manager with direct reports. 
  • Strong ability, aptitude, and desire to network and to earn the confidence of diverse senior client leaders in marketing, sales, product, technology, operations, finance and procurement functions. 
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – comfortable presenting to ‘C’ level.
  • Creative, positive, and collaborative problem solver.
  • Hands on, i.e. ‘roll-up-your sleeve’ type
