What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?
We’re hiring for an experienced growth marketer and sales development leader to join our quickly growing team. We’re looking for a growth marketer that thinks bigger than traditional performance marketing. We want a leader who is passionate about developer education and utilizing dark social, events, and creative brand awareness tactics to drive demand and awareness for Uplevel.
You will be responsible for the strategy and execution of marketing programs that capture and nurture marketing leads across multiple channels.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Set our growth marketing strategy and goals, deciding which new channels and initiatives to build, refine, and prioritize.

Lead our outbound strategy and work with our SDRs to continually test new campaigns and iterate.

Champion growth initiatives at the leadership level and obtain the necessary resources to make your vision programmatic and repeatable.

Improve operational processes and reporting to measure effectiveness, performance and ROI of marketing spend.

Develop our current team and evolve the team into specialized roles as we grow. Current direct reports: campaign manager, two SDRs. 2022 open headcount: developer evangelist, events manager, revops manager.

Collaborate with our writer, product marketing, and marketing VP on our content strategy, driving all initiatives tied to campaigns.

Partner with the VP of marketing on product marketing and PR initiatives as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

BA/BS degree preferred and 10 years of professional work experience in marketing.

2+ years experience marketing to an engineering or technical audience – CTOs, VPs of engineering.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener.

Comfortable writing technical content that an engineer would want to read.

Driven by data to make decisions – experience managing campaigns, measuring and optimizing them.

Hubspot experience a plus.

Experience with account-based marketing strategy a plus.
