Job summary
As EMEA Early Career Program Manager at AWS, you will be the single threaded leader for all Early Career Public Sector ProServe programs across EMEA. You will support our graduate consultants as they begin their career, as well as our interns and other professionals that are in the early stages of their careers or in career transition. In this role, you will hire and develop some of the industry’s best cloud-based professional graduates, empower them to further develop their technical areas of depth as well as their communication, presentation and strategic advisory skills and launch them into their customer-facing roles.
Our graduate program has increased in size year on year, since its inception in 2017. As our Early Careers Program Manager, you will design and execute our program going forward, tracking and monitoring progress, and iterating and improving on the program, building for scale. You will also look for opportunities to create new and innovative early career programs, such as military apprenticeships and returner programs, and you will design and execute on those programs. You will collaborate with other early career leaders globally, and across other business units, to share best practice and delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience building and running technical educational programs, as well as managing early career professionals.
As part of the role, you will have the opportunity to develop your own technical knowledge of the AWS platforms, and gain foundational certifications.
Key job responsibilities
Design and execute graduate enablement program that includes technical enablement, supervised field experience, consultancy coaching, with clear expectations and milestones.
Design and execute EMEA engagement plan for interns.
Design and execute enablement programs for other early career programs we will implement (such as military apprenticeship program.)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience building and executing scalable programs
High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organisations, with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong influencing skills and negotiation skills
Passion for technology and for learning
Fluent English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience leading and developing early in career talent
Previous professional experience architecting / operating solutions built on AWS
Additional language(s)
Experience with public speaking
