Job summary
AWS Digital Marketing Platform Engineering(DMP) owns and builds a number of services for the digital marketing and email campaign management systems. Amazon uses our platform to communicate with the customers about our products, services and events. DMP Team is one of the startup teams within AWS, and we are working on building a prioritization engine to send our AWS users the most relevant campaign with right content, at the right time. The goal for this team is to build an automated system which can reduce the work of AWS Marketers across the globe and to send the most important campaign for the user, based on their segments and preferences.

About the team
The AWS Marketing Engineering team is building a new platform entirely on cutting-edge AWS services – including CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB and more, with state-of-the-art open-source front-end frameworks, libraries and tool-chains, to deliver a set of highly scalable, performant, serverless and responsive web apps for our global Field Marketing organization. Your work will have high visibility across the AWS team and global AWS community of developers and users.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Equivalent experience to a Bachelor’s degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education
2-3+ years professional experience in software development.
Experience with modern programming languages (Java, C#, Python) and open-source technologies.
Experience with web/mobile technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, React, WebPack, HTTP mechanics/performance).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with modern front-end libraries and components such as React, Webpack, TypeScript, etc.
Experience with machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and/or statistical analysis tools is a plus.

The pay range for this position in New York City is $158100 – 213800(yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $ 143,700 – 194,400 [year]; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
