Position Summary

Marqeta is looking for a strategic and driven leader to lead our North America revenue business with a passion for evangelizing and winning the modern card issuing market. This leader will lead a large cross-functional team including sales, customer success, and partnerships – to land fintechs, technology disruptors, large tech giants and financial institutions

This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role that requires strong partnerships with the leadership team in Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to conceive and execute a strategy that successfully grows our North America revenue. Successful candidates will be highly strategic thinkers and strong operators who have the ability to guide cross-functional teams to target the largest opportunities in the market, operate the business with a strong grasp of the strategic opportunity and our own performance quantitatively to serve customers seamlessly.

  • Deliver strong growth and expansion of the business
  • Deliver customer delight and success on Marqeta’s platform
  • Partner across functions and geographies to develop an enduring growth strategy for the business
  • Build and foster a high performance team culture
  • Ensure execution of operational priorities across teams
  • Own and scale our new market entry strategy and operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Deep understanding of payments and ideally card issuing and processing
  • Success in a senior leadership role leading teams at high growth, B2B software businesses
  • Proven success leading high performing strategy and operational teams
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with extremely high attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of how enterprise organizations try, buy and use software
  • An innate sense of urgency and results to drive programs forward
  • Strategic thinker and detailed operator with a strong drive for results
  • Driven and self-motivated to continuously refine their tradecraft
