About The Role:
As a founding member of the new Growth organization within Veho, you will play an integral role in laying the growth strategy and foundation for the company. This is an ideal role for you if you enjoy transitioning between strategy and execution and are excited about being part of a high performing team in a fast paced startup environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for our holistic events marketing strategy and execution. This includes owning the full event lifecycle for offline and online events, including planning, execution, and post event analysis. In this role you will manage owned and third party (3P) events, working with internal partners from the marketing, sales and leadership teams as well as external vendors and partners, to produce online and offline events that drive business growth.
The ideal candidate balances creativity with analytics and has very strong program management skills. They thrive in ambiguous environments and are energized by situations where they need to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
They must have a strong track record in building scalable marketing/promotional programs across multiple channels and with various types of events (trade shows, owned conferences, and virtual events).
Developing our events marketing strategy and plans based on insights generated by closely collaborating with sales, customer success and marketing teams.
Owning event management from inception to post event measurement and assessment.
Managing event plans, including key proposals and execution plans for each event.
Collaborating with senior internal stakeholders to develop timely inputs, set-up processes across other functions of the organization to maintain a high bar on quality execution
Analyzing and presenting performance metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement
Establishing guidelines and best practices across teams, leading and contributing to event calendar, stakeholder communications, standard operating procedures (SOP), vendor lists, and documentation of mechanisms.
Sourcing services from vendors through RFPs and managing partners.
Identifying and setting up and managing event related tools and infrastructure to enable efficient and effective reporting, measurement and decision making.
Attending in person and offline events and ensuring best in class execution and problem solving where needed.
What You Bring:
6+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, including large events, ideally in logistics-technology or adjacent industries
Passionate about hands on execution while having the ability to take a step back to see the wider picture
History of managing complex and highly visible projects with success.
Drives operational excellence and great project management skills with a high level of attention to detail
Thrives in quickly changing ambiguous environments
Experienced in analyzing and interpreting data to make business recommendations.
Ability to self-start and work both independently and within a team
Strong bias for action: can manage multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Exhibits ability to stay calm under pressure; resilient to set-backs
Partners effectively with multiple stakeholders
Ability to travel domestically
Experience working with AEM, BI tools such as Hubspot and Salesforce
