We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Brand & Communication Expert to build, manage and lead our Brand Strategy, Brand Communications, and Brand Copywriter teams across FindHotel. Reporting to our Chief Strategy Officer, the ideal Head of Brand & Creative will provide thought leadership across our creative disciplines, ensuring our brand communication assets are owned and optimised to the highest standard, inspiring and developing strategic initiatives to continually take our Brand communication to the next level.

What you will do

  • Leading our product and social communications.
  • Lead our storytelling across product, company narrative, and PR.
  • Leading our PR efforts.
  • Managing the lead translations.
  • Supporting new products and teams with hands-on communication strategies.
  • Providing creative thought leadership and continually identifying new opportunities to take communications to the next level.
  • Lead the communication projects in collaboration with a team of creatives across graphic design, copywriting, rich media, experiential, and interactive disciplines.
  • Oversee, provide, maintain, nurture and guard our TOV across our efforts.
  • Inspire, generate and develop ideas that are strategically informed, channel-agnostic, and deeply integrated between all touch-points and product experiences, consistently up-leveling our brand communication.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding and appreciation for system thinking and help to build documentation and communication systems for others to develop an on-brand experience.
  • Consistently demonstrate core values, be a role model for our ethos, and mentor a group of diverse talent.
  • Partner with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, UX researchers, Analysts, and developers to guide and develop work that is of the highest quality and greatest consistency.
  • Oversee and provide brand strategy direction for any of our creative expressions, ensuring deliverables adhere to our strategic brief and FindHotel’s (new name soon :slight_smile:) vision and intention
  • Foster a respectful and collaborative environment. Mentor teams, ensuring alignment on all brand communication aspects.

 

Who you are

  • Extensive experience in creative brand communication, preferably a mix of product and brand-side (in-house) within global companies.
  • A portfolio showing creative brand communication, innovative, customer-focused, impactful, and acclaimed work that demonstrates your ability to lead and develop a brand that resonates culturally and influences business results.
  • Strategic plus systems-based thinking – your work is built upon insights and systems, not simply creative whims.
  • Collaborative in nature, both within the department and beyond.
  • You have a strongly developed intuition for customers and the ability to get into the customer’s shoes to see the world and problems they are facing, then translate that into smart brand communication strategies.
  • Very strong storyteller.
  • A seasoned innovator, able to simplify on behalf of the customer.
  • Flexible and independent, able to work in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • The incredible organisation, communication, prioritisation, and decision-making skills.
  • You have a very strong bias for action.
  • You are extremely creative, pragmatic, and resourceful in identifying solutions and your ability to execute them.
