Summary:
The Billing Services administrator is responsible for performing accounting functions to record Service Agreement Benefit Payments, Pre- tax deductions and the associated fee billing for the RIS Pension business. This role also is responsible for calculation of contractual expenses and service fees in an accurate and timely manner to prevent potential loss in income.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Address and resolve complex and critical client escalation issues. Perform complex tasks independently for a portfolio of accounts. Manage relationships and complex tasks for a portfolio of assigned accounts.
Key Task
- Perform Billing tasks and administrative functions of the Billing Services Unit
- Perform high-value financial transactions in a consistently accurate and timely fashion
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and data integrity
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies and issues, and resolve internal and external client escalations that impact the unit on a high-priority basis
- Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with internal and external clients and business partners
- Respond to external and internal requests for information, including audits and Call Center requests
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong oral/written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and analysis.
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization.
- Moderate knowledge of group products, services and systems.
Experience and Education:
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Degree is preferred
- Strong Excel skills and proficient in all other Microsoft Office products.
