The Lead Data Analyst – Risk Adjustment will be core to the growth of the business and will have an incredible opportunity to work with proven entrepreneurs as they scale a business model validated to save taxpayers money while extending life expectancy.
What you’ll do:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audience with varied technical skills
- Cleanse, merge, and process data required to generate dashboards and reports for clinical quality, operational, and financial purposes
- Ability to prioritize “quick and dirty” ad hoc models and analyses against more rigorous ones, as appropriate
- Demonstrate desire to master various data domains and expertise around weaving them together to answer key questions from clinical, operational and financial stakeholders
- Mentor analytics team members to prioritize and resolve issues as well as continue their professional development, uphold company’s core values, and maintain employee engagement.
- Advocates and champions for the development and use of analytic platforms and tools aligned to overall WBH’s data analytics strategy
- Strategic and critical thinking with the ability to engage, build and maintain credibility with stakeholders and leadership.
- Provide ideas backed by analysis on how to improve status quo, and finding new solutions and levers to improve business and clinical efficacy
- Exhibits deep understanding of various data domains and provide innovative solutions for data integrity and accuracy.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in an analytical discipline) required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analytics, with a focus on converting business information into actionable analysis and insights
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the healthcare industry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with leaders, stakeholders and users.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI or other analytical and business intelligence tools
- Hands-on experience with analysis design problems and varied healthcare datasets and domains (e.g. enrollment, benefits, claims, clinical, risk, healthcare financials etc.)
- Experience and aptitude using data to tell stories – be able to translate complex analysis into plain, simple language and contextualize analytics via effective story-telling
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience and competency working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Deep commitment to helping unlock the potential of our most vulnerable seniors.
