About the Manager, Business Operationsxa0at Headspace Health:

As a Manager in the Business Operations team, you’ll report to the Director and lead high-impact initiatives within the Operations function and across the organization. This role is an especially critical part of our growing Business Operations team and will enable us to unlock scale and growth across the org to improve access to mental health care for our members. - Join a growing Business Operations function, contribute in shaping the team’s culture, work on challenging problems to enable growth and scale, and have fun along the way!
- Serve as a core member of our cross-functional BizOps team that collaborates with Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Clinical, Coaching, Member Support, Finance, and other internal groups on key initiatives / OKRs
- Participate in functional planning, budgeting, quarterly OKR planning, annual operating plan, and defining the scope of the team in partnership with leadership
Lead, manage, and deliver strategic projects for leadership that support priority OKRs and drive impact across Headspace Health - Drive overall business performance by monitoring, tracking, and collaborating to identify improvement areas across key business and functional metrics
- Develop a strong, functional knowledge base of the Headspace Health business required to support identification of near-term and long-term problems, enable solutions to problems, and proactively seek help from leadership in removing roadblocks
- Lead problem-solving, conduct data-driven analyses, and develop a strong understanding value drivers across functions to recommend improvement areas and opportunities of growth
- Optimize data and reporting for the Operations team, including creating, managing, and tracking of KPIs, budgeting, dashboards, forecasting, etc.
- Identify areas for process improvement and create first draft workflows that serve as blueprints for more scalable product solutions and processes
- Create strong, long-lasting cross-functional relationships across teams, functions, and executives

- You have demonstrated a data-driven, strategic mindset and are able to zoom out to the business level yet maintain ability to dive deep into the details
- You enjoy building relationships with stakeholders across the organization and can compassionately collaborate with internal and cross-functional leadership on priorities
- You have demonstrated strong analytical skills with an aptitude to uncover insightsxa0to make informed recommendationsxa0
- You have lead teams on projects with a focus on the essential, ruthless prioritization, attention to detail, and inclination to simplify the ambiguous
- You can communicate effectively and empathetically with a diverse group of stakeholders, articulate concise recommendations, and lead discussions with cross-functional leadership
- You are a results-oriented, resourceful, and reliable team player and capable of independently seeking information required to solve unstructured problems
- You have experience working in a growing team and are excited about driving impact to support business needs / priorities
- You are keen on leading projects and driving ad-hoc analyses for leadership to enable strategic decision making
- You can use appropriate tools to analyze, synthesize, and visualize data, and learn new skills on the job to improve how we function. Tools include Tableau, Google data studio, MS-Excel, Google Workspace apps, Looker, etc.
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python and other coding tools is good to have, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science, business or related discipline required; Master’s is a plus but not required
- 5+ years of work experience in bizops, strategy, operations, high-growth startup environment, or related experience; 2+ years of experience managing teams or direct reports
- Experience in digital health, telehealth, and/or mental health is a plus but not required
