We are looking for a Medical Operations Quality Manager to drive the design, development and execution of a best-in-class clinical quality program. This individual will ensure that Color’s clinical partners operate to the highest clinical standards, supporting safe, scalable systems and high-value care.  This is a full-time employment position.
 
How You’ll Contribute:
 
Define patient-first quality standards that are measurable, scalable, and in accordance with practice and regulatory requirements
Design and implement a clinical quality assurance program that holds our clinical partners and programs to the highest standard
Conduct chart audits and data analysis for Color’s clinical programs, evaluating documentation, clinical decision making and adherence to program clinical guidelines
Own design and cadence of weekly and monthly committees to review and escalate key cases, providers, and trends
Support the quality team in operational day to day management, metrics, and reporting
Work with the Head of Medical Operations on program/project launches and/or events to ensure quality standards and regulatory requirements are adhered to
Assist in the development of policies, procedures, competencies, training, corrective action plans and tracking mechanisms
Collaborate with Color’s Medical Affairs, Product and Operations team in evaluating and improving clinical flows, intakes and protocols
 
Our Ideal Candidate Will Be/Have:
 
Advanced Practice Clinician (nurse practitioner or physician assistant) with a minimum of 5 years clinical practice experience in an outpatient primary care setting with experience in administering a clinical quality assurance program
Familiarity with managing conditions that are common in primary care settings including diabetes, hyperlipidemia and obesity, as well as acute care conditions
Experience with developing clinical quality initiatives, including conducting chart audits,  assessing for clinical decision making and documentation, and giving feedback to clinicians
Experience in health technology, diagnostics, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry is desired
Comfortable with various health delivery models and experience in evaluating medical/care workflows and protocols.
Comfort with ambiguity: you are comfortable working in a high growth, constantly changing environment, and have a proven track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about healthcare and technology; you’re excited to play a role in building out the future of healthcare
Willing to travel to HQ in Burlingame, CA
