Job Description

This position is responsible for the planning, deployment, and integration of Anitian’s Microsoft Azure Compliance Automation platform and customized cloud enabled applications. This engineer will be expected to manage Azure cloud services, perform systems administration tasks, troubleshoot, and fully integrate the Anitian stack into customer environments. Additionally, this position will require a high degree of customer interaction including pre-deployment planning and knowledge transfer with the ability to handle technical escalations.

Expectations 

  • The ability to execute CI/CD pipelines and deployments to production environments
  • Execute in fast paced environments with the ability to solve difficult technical problems and can deliver singlehandedly
  • Configuring, navigating, and implementing Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Policy, Azure Active Directory, Log Analytics, Storage Accounts and Defender for Cloud
  • Daily involvement with multiple projects and tasks involving the Anitian Platform including virtual machines, virtual networking, storage services, identity management, and others
  • Passion for team collaboration with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Can handle ambiguity by analyzing situations to navigate to the correct path

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 2+ years’ implementation experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM/BICEP)
  • 2+ years’ experience with configuration management tools
  • Knowledge in Git
  • Ability to provide work estimates by breaking down work into modular tasks
  • Acute focus on customer needs and desire to take ownership of problem resolution

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux distros: deployment, management, and security
  • Fundamental understanding of Azure services
  • Knowledgeable with security data and controls
  • Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Understanding of Git, branching, and merge requests
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Ability to work directly with clients, troubleshoot issues, and work toward a solution

Education, Certifications and Training 

  • AWS or Azure certifications strongly preferred
  • Technical degree

Other Beneficial Skills

  • Experience with SIEM products
  • Familiarity with a variety of Azure services
  • CI/CD Pipelines, Jira and the Atlassian stack
  • AWS or Azure Certification (DevOps, Solutions Architect, etc.)
  • FedRAMP and/or any Compliance related knowledge
  • MFA (Multifactor Authentication) (YubiKey/Okta)
  • Knowledge of at least 1 scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.)
  • Prefer experience in one of the following compliance standards: PCI, SOC2, FedRAMP, but not necessary
