As a part of the ShopStyle Collective Marketing team, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategically scaling our product marketing initiatives and driving content creation among our network of creators. You are the resident expert on our products and how to increase usage. This person will own the content strategy for product-related content, in-application messaging, and work cross-functionally to execute. The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with internal teams across Marketing, Creative, Engineering/Product, Creator Account Management and more to ensure successful new product launches.
Develop marketing strategies and messaging for creator-facing new product launches, updates, and features to drive adoption, usage, and retention
Manage in-application messaging to drive product usage
Drawing on quantitative/qualitative research insights and develop a strong understanding of the broader company ecosystem and competitive landscape to develop compelling positioning and messaging
Carry out multiple aspects of the product marketing lifecycle, from research and positioning to targeted communication and segmentation strategy, education and engagement.
Maintain our marketing content calendar with product driven communications that increase engagement and product adoption.
Coordinate the workflow for this content, including all creative requests, to ensure materials are delivered on time and updated as needed
Measure and report against the performance of product marketing initiatives
Support Director of Marketing and larger team across other initiatives and activities as needed
4+ years of experience in product marketing role
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Motivated self-starter and team player who thrives in fast paced environments – can balance high-level strategy with execution to quickly put an idea into action
Ready to roll up sleeves to take on new projects outside of day-to-day scope and learn new techniques and tools
Highly organized; paying attention to even small details to make sure nothing “falls through the cracks”
Ability to prioritize supporting multiple projects at once and be adaptable to meet tight deadlines
