The Security Engineers on our team are responsible for enabling and maturing Security Assurance workflows and practices, and facilitating useful and lightweight tooling and processes that allow our engineers to better deliver trust to our customers and the company. We are seeking an individual that is as passionate about security as they are about people.

Key Expectations / Deliverables
Identify and scope automation opportunities to drive maturity within a Security organization
Experience building security into the agile development process and improving security content delivery
Develop and promote integration process work across multiple teams in Engineering, Security, and new Orgs to coordinate and drive alignment
Work with engineers to analyze systems, design new features, and build responsive controls to ensure end-to-end customer protection
Listens for nuances and digs into details to understand systems deeply
Detects areas that are ripe for improvement and establishes appropriate security goals
Influences and collaborates with colleagues to develop secure solutions and to accomplish stated security goals
Be proactive on technical knowledge sharing
Keeps up to date with new security technologies and methodologies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in an Computer Science, a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of management experience using Agile frameworks
  • Proven knowledge of multiple Agile frameworks and broad experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for integrated systems
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, C#, Python)
  • Strong experience with AWS, Terraform and Packer
  • Validated experience with test automation and continuous delivery /deployment: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing, CI/CD
  • Passion for management and mentoring in a high-growth organization
  • Shown teamwork and multi-functional collaboration skills, to include customer service
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

BONUS Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications: Agile Certified Practicioner (ACP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar
  • Experience in building Security Tooling and/or Automation
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, application security pentesting/scanning
