Purchasing software that will dramatically influence how you support your people and drive business strategy is exciting. The Professional Services Advisor is key to making that purchase a success. In this role you will skillfully design the service packages that will support the client through implementing and adopting Visier products. You’ll work along side our customers through discovery scoping, defining and proposing the service packages tailored to the customers needs. This role operates independently as part of the sales team and collaborates across a number of functions including professional services practices. This role is best suited to someone with advanced technical knowledge about the BI industry, coupled with commercial acumen and business development. 

What you’ll be doing…

 
  • Conducting discovery to ensure customers’ goals, capabilities, resources are understood prior to sale.  Determine technical and business requirements to produce a professional services and technical onboarding proposal.
  • Working with internal sales and professional services practices to identify the service packages needed to achieve customer goals and timeframes. You will create value management and solution package documentation including effort analysis, onboarding roadmap, and use case value streams. 
  • Delivering the service proposals collaboratively to balance the customer’s budget, resource levels and desired timeframes.
  • Managing a forecast and pipeline of business and accurately predicting bookings.
  • Working collaboratively with partners to ensure that collaborative projects are undertaken in a manner that ensure clarity and success for the customer. 
  • Building productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities
  • Providing accurate and timely management information, to include – activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, KPI’s

    What you’ll bring to the table…

     
  • Established experience in business intelligence / analytics services preferably in a technical role
  • Demonstrated track record in service sales and solution design
  • A strong propensity to challenge and educate customers during the sales cycle to adopt best practices 
  • You’re an expert in managing your customers, always looking for opportunities to provide the best solution with the ability to bring the client along for the journey to close deals effectively
  • Mastery of cross functional collaboration. You understand what your peers and colleagues need to succeed and work hard to support them
  • Domain specific experience in human resources will be highly regarded
  • Although we aren’t travelling currently, this role travels extensively and you should apply knowing that requirement will likely return in the future when it is safe to do so
