Elastic is seeking an experienced Web Program Manager to help manage the web team’s request intake process, support its projects, establish timelines, and manage team resource prioritization. This position will focus on helping prioritize requests across multiple partner groups, helping them to navigate the web team’s processes, and ultimately help build an outstanding website experience.
What You Will Be Doing:

  • Own intake, routing, prioritization, and management for web team requests.
  • Supervise and report on the health of all active web team tickets.
  • Partner with internal team members across Marketing and Website Engineering to identify operational improvements and establish processes for both technical and non-technical web initiatives.
  • Create and drive the timelines for website initiatives, including scoping, crafting timelines, and communicating roadmaps and blockers.
  • Manage customer relationships with internal clients
  • Support program strategy and onboarding for the website content management system, helping to increase self-service adoption and continuous use.
  • Provide strong leadership, great judgment, and clear communication to both customers and team members.
  • Provide guidance and education to non-technical team members on how to create high-quality, SEO and accessibility friendly web pages.

What You Bring Along:

  • Previous experience with managing work for a large scale customer-facing marketing website
  • 2-5 years as a technical program manager, technical project manager, or related field
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering process improvements
  • Prior experience working in Product or Marketing Organizations
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile software development such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Ability to dive deep in understanding customer needs and delivering an effective and engaging web experiences
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally with both business and technical teams

Bonus Points:

  • A preferred candidate is skilled and experienced at eliciting the best out of the people and projects that they oversee. They thrive when planning projects and working with teams that include Elasticians around the world.
  • Experience using project management tools such as: homegrown google drive tools, GitHub, AirTable, Clubhouse, or Trello.
  • Metrics driven and analytical, experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce, or other tools a bonus.
