About the role:

We here at CrowdStrike have a singular mission, Stopping Breaches, and we are looking for a seasoned, expert Sales Engineer to join our team supporting the Federal sector. Our Identity Protection Sales Engineering team is a dynamic, global team that helps customers every day to prevent valid credentials from being used in an attack. You’ll join a global team of specialists that are the experts to our sales engineering team and our customers on our Identity Protection product line and work hand-in-hand with our endpoint protection sales teams to deliver the most comprehensive breach prevention solution in the industry. If you’re passionate about stopping breaches and securing customer environments and you love being the expert among experts then we want to hear from you.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to speak expertly about the anatomy of a cybersecurity attack
  • Have a solid understanding of cybersecurity and the tactics and techniques used to breach customer environments
  • Shift styles to easily communicate with customer security engineers and executives alike
  • Seeks to understand first and is fearlessly inquisitive to achieve understanding
  • Feel at ease presenting to large audiences both remotely and in-person
  • Proactively shares the knowledge and expertise
  • Easily creates and maintains relationships with teammates, colleagues, and customers
  • Loves learning new things and being a part of an industry segment that is still being defined by CrowdStrike and analysts
  • Have a minimum of 5-years’ experience in positions selling cybersecurity products to customers
  • Willingly experiment with new technologies, techniques, and approaches to understand and communicate the unique value of CrowdStrike’s solutions
  • Experience with penetration testing, red team exercises focusing on identity-based attacks is a bonus
  • Understanding Active Directory architecture, authentication, and identity-based attacks is preferred but not mandatory
  • The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one. TS/SCI clearance preferred.
