What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

The Sales Analyst is responsible for ensuring that sales reporting is accurate and provides insights into the state of Seeq’s business.  The Sales Analyst provides business acumen, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions to drive outcomes.  The Sales Analyst is responsible for managing corporate processes including forecasting & pipeline management, sales planning, and quota planning.  They will work closely with the sales team, customer success team, finance team and executive team to ensure alignment on sales planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Annual Sales and Revenue Planning
  • Annually Quota and Commission Planning
  • Monthly Forecasting Process
  • Monthly Board Reporting for Sales

Qualifications 

Seeq prefers to emphasize talent, capacity to contribute, and passion, but the ideal candidate is likely to have many of the following characteristics:

  • A relevant technical (engineering, math, or science) and/or business degree(s)
  • Excellent analytics problem solving and analytics skills with demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems and provide elegant solutions. Is adept at critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills that balance thoughtful analysis with timely responsiveness.
  • Accomplished MS Excel and SalesForce skills with practice in developing sales analytics and reporting in both platforms.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an analyst role (sales analyst preferred).
  • Deep understanding of cross-functional collaboration and how to work with others to drive impactful outcomes for the organization.
  • Demonstrates an exceptional level of internal and external customer responsiveness
  • Is adaptable to change as it relates to the sales plan, internal/external relationships, and organizational direction. Shows scheduling flexibility to effectively adapt to changing business needs.
  • Travels to internal meetings and customer sites as warranted
