About the Role:
RStudio is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Sales Operations team. This position is 100% remote based in the United States. The Sales Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role at RStudio in managing transaction quality, and driving sales acceleration and scale in a cross functional environment.
Things you’ll own:
As the Sales Operations Analyst at RStudio you’ll have the opportunity to play an active role in helping us scale and streamline our opportunity bookings to help the organization reach our goals.
- Collaborate with our Sales, Customer Success, and Business Development teams as well as Finance to optimize deal structure, and provide teams with guidance on quote structure, discounts, and best practices
- Ensure completeness and accuracy in the entering and recording of sales opportunities to ensure they meet the guidelines in our sales playbooks and the standards of our bookings policies
- Understand and apply RStudio’s revenue-recognition rules to ensure all opportunities are booked in accordance with standard accounting practices
- Help monitor and take action on our reports to watch data governance and recommend areas for improvement
Things you’ll help with:
- Identify ways to optimize existing processes and develop new scalable/repeatable processes including updating internal documentation and team handbooks
- Testing and evaluating new technology solutions
- Be able to provide operational support for self-service purchases as needed
- Administering Salesforce as needed
- Be a resource for our sales team for best practices on deal policies and quote structuring
- Review deals alongside our finance team to ensure finance is able to recognize revenue and invoice properly
- Managing contracts and other key documents
Things you’ll teach:
- Train the sales team on our tech stack, recommended processes, and policies
- Help bring the team up to speed on new playbooks and procedures
Things you’ll learn:
- CRM administration (today, our CRM is Salesforce)
- Deal structure and sales processes
- Tactics and strategies for scaling a revenue operation in a fast-growing technology company
Qualities you possess:
As the Sales Operations Analyst, you must possess the following skills:
- Experience with Salesforce preferred, and experience with Outreach and Scratchpad is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- You have exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet time-sensitive goals
- You are naturally curious, a self-starter, and enjoy working in a team setting
- Ability to understand and improve complex sales processes and workflows
- Understand the business drivers for different functional business units
- Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with internal customers
- Demonstrated work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
