What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

As an industry that comprises 20% of the US economy we think healthcare should work better for all of us. At Collective Health we believe it’s time for a new day in healthcare where as members we are informed and empowered to make the right care choices when the decisions are urgent and critical. 

You will be part of the Plans Engineering Team. The team is designing and building a new platform of services to manage healthcare plans, the core of our business. This platform will allow our business to grow and help us create customized healthcare plans for our clients.

As a frontend engineer, you'll work with a team of engineers and product managers in all phases of the development process. We are looking for someone who is ready to help lead the way building next-generation services. If you're passionate about solving hard problems and modernizing healthcare, we'd love to talk!

What you'll do

  • Lead frontend engineering to build new services for creating health plans and related data
  • Participate in team-based projects, from understanding the challenges we are solving for to proposing and implementing solutions
  • Improve existing interfaces to increase operations efficiency and quality of service
  • Build frontend components designed to be shared across internal and external portals
  • Mentor other engineers interested in learning frontend technologies

Your skills include

  • 4+ years of professional Javascript development experience using ES6
  • Experience with a frontend framework(s), such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience developing websites consuming from multiple APIs
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and Enzyme

Pay Transparency Statement

Per Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and New York City's Int. 1208-2018, the estimated salary range for this role if hired in Colorado is $91,200-$134,000, and for New York City is $126,800-$158,500. Compensation will depend on multiple factors, including geographic location, qualifications, and experience.

Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado or New York City only, and this role is open to candidates outside of those locations.
