Make Your Mark:

This dynamic role offers a chance to be a key member of the corporate accounting team. The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting will also be integral to the financial statement close process and maintaining required and appropriate internal control over financial reporting.

You’ll Get To:

  • Leadership role in SEC reporting processes, including efforts relating to:
    • Preparation, review, and filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports (Forms 10-Q and Forms 10-K)
    • Preparation, review, and filing of the quarterly Earnings Release (and related Form 8-K)
    • XBRL tagging
    • Benchmarking to peers regarding form and content of disclosures, filings, etc.
  • Coordinate with senior business line leadership, legal, investor relations, and other stakeholders on drafting quarterly and annual filings
  • Take an active/lead role in the drafting/creation of Management’s Discussion and Analysis (MD&A), leveraging quarterly reporting decks.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, Investor Relations and other colleagues to ensure complete and accurate SEC filings (proxy, Forms 8-K, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the accounting policy team to enhance accounting policies and procedures, and ensure that disclosure-related requirements are identified, planned for and executed.
  • Serve as a key finance liaison in ESG and sustainability reporting within SEC filings.
  • Lead Disclosure Committee meetings, presenting technical accounting, complex transactions, and disclosure-related items to key executives and leaders.
  • Leverage technology and automation to ensure best-in-class external reporting practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the global organization to enhance the financial reporting process (including disclosure controls).
  • Participate in special projects, including (but not limited to) implementation of new accounting pronouncements, financial reporting enhancements, Investor Day materials, continuous improvement items, etc.

Leadership & Management:

  • Provide oversight and engage in the development of the financial reporting staff.
  • Establish and develop relationships with accounting leadership.
  • Help build the U.S. GAAP understanding of stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Utilize project management skills to independently oversee and complete complex tasks by extracting skills and resources from around the globe.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Ability to succinctly communicate issues and their resolution to finance and business leadership (verbally and in writing).
  • High comfort level interacting with executive-level individuals.
  • Superior multi-tasking skills, adaptability, and ability to operate independently in a constantly changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in accounting, preferably with four years of public accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with:
    • Accounting ERP systems
    • Performing accounting research, leading projects, and communicating results;
    • Working and communicating within multi-national corporations and SEC registrants; and
  • Strong command of details
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
  • Works well with people in a team environment, including the ability to interface effectively with members of the Executive Team and other departments
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
