Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Sales Excellence is part of a dynamic team building scale for Pax8’s explosive sales growth, across the globe. They partner closely with senior sales leaders to build sales and operational processes to support revenue growth, partner engagement, and sales efficiency. In partnership with our Tools and Technology team, the Senior Manager maps critical sales processes and defines requirements for sales tools that support sales play execution, digital selling, and performance monitoring. They lead the development of the sales rhythm of business for the global business, partnering with regional business leaders to define local processes and drive global alignment. The Senior Manager develops the tools and operational metrics to evaluate and improve sales efficiencies and identify areas to strengthen performance through training, coaching, and process improvement.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Identify ways to increase velocity and outcomes across partner recruitment, enablement, pipeline development, forecasting, and deployment
- Evaluate sales processes and define improvements to deliver revenue growth and improve sales efficiency
- Define business requirements and roadmap for sales tools and systems to enable digital sales strategy, sales plays, and improve seller efficiency
- Build plans to optimize business rhythms for sales and supporting teams, for the global business and regional businesses
- Partner with analytics team and sales operations to build measurement and reporting to gauge operational success
- Leads a cross-company team
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least five (5) years in sales, sales strategy, sales excellence/enablement, sales operations, finance, consulting, or related field
- At least four (4) years designing and managing core sales operations and sales processes – strategic planning, target setting and forecasting, process design, sales journey mapping, forecasting
- At least four (4) years managing a team
- Competency in process analysis, understanding gaps/blockers affecting sales efficiencies and outcomes, and then designing and implementing new processes and approaches
- Demonstrated competencies in analyzing and utilizing data to translate insights into actionable plans and outcomes
- Demonstrated understanding of B2B sales operations, ideally in an organization with multiple product lines and offerings and multi-dimensional sales teams
- Strong business acumen and the ability to engage and partner effectively with senior sales leaders
- Excellent collaboration skills, and demonstrated ability to lead matrixed teams, and effective persuasive and player/coach capabilities
- Highly organized, detail oriented, with a strong internal compass to maintain pace in ambiguous environments
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
- Six Sigma process or Lean Project Management certification is a plus

Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $115,000 or more depending on experience
