About the Role
 
Veho uses a network of independent contractor drivers to complete last-mile package deliveries to customers. The Driver and Marketplace Operations teams are responsible for growing this network of drivers and improving their experience on the platform, and b) helping maintain our high standards for on-time delivery and overall delivery quality. We are a highly capable, diverse, values-driven team, and we’re looking for strong candidates to help achieve our ambitious goals. Veho is hiring a Senior Operations Manager for each team.
 
As a Senior Ops Manager on the Driver Operations team, you will develop a deep understanding of Veho’s operation and driver network, and lead projects to support the rapid growth of the driver base. Candidates must be comfortable working with data and leading analysis independently. You must also be able to translate these insights into action and have the ability to manage the implementation and execution of complex projects.
 
As a Senior Ops Manager on the Marketplace Operations team you will focus on marketplace health, routing optimization, pricing, incentives, driver route matching. As a member of one of these teams, you will play a key role in creating and executing on a strategy that supports the Marketplace Operations team’s overall goal of ensuring that drivers are enticed by the value prop that we offer, that every package is placed on an efficient route, and every route is completed in a cost-efficient manner. 
 
Candidates must be comfortable working with data and leading analysis independently. Our team is data and insights-driven, so you’ll need to be comfortable combining both qualitative and quantitative insights to make decisions. You must also be able to translate these insights into action and have the ability to manage the implementation and execution of complex projects.

Responsibilities

    • Create and execute a roadmap to solve root causes of various operational challenges
    • Create a methodology to segment drivers based on how they engage with Veho
    • Refine how we track and measure key metrics
    • Collaborate with Product, Ground Operations and Support to identify and address the biggest opportunities to improve the delivery experience and marketplace efficiency
    • Improve processes to enable hyper scale
    • Analyze large data sets and provide insights to cross-functional teammates

What You Bring:

    • 2+  years of experience that includes project management, analytics, and/or problem-solving
    • Is excited about digging deep into the data
    • Can translate complex analyses into actionable insights tied to business goals
    • Can lead execution of complex initiatives and processes using project management best practices
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable shifting priorities based on new insights and business needs
    • Proficient in SQL
    • Can think critically about problems and priorities, and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo
    • Is a self-starter and has a desire to learn and grow 
    • Is detailed-oriented and an excellent verbal and written communication 
The starting salary for this role is $118,300. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company.
