Your Role
As the product marketer dedicated to Twist, you’ll collaborate with nearly every other team at Doist to bring the product to life across Twist’s existing (and potential) user base. You’ll balance analytics and creativity when devising marketing campaigns to showcase anything from a small bug fix to a massive feature release. With your counterpart on the product team, you’ll dive deep into learning about Twist’s users, how they use the app, and how best to communicate with them.
On a day-to-day basis you’ll:

Plan, develop and execute product marketing campaigns of varying scopes for Twist.

Collaborate with marketers, brand designers, and full-stack developers to showcase Twist across multiple marketing channels.

Dig into data and speak with Twist users in order to understand our user lifecycle and how the app solves peoples’ pain points (and how it could solve others).

Write and edit copy of varying lengths, from a Twist changelog to a Twist blog post.

Review and suggest improvements to Twist’s existing product marketing tools like lifecycle emails, the Twist website, and Twist app store descriptions.

Engage in co-marketing activities with third-party developers and partners.
About you
It’s important to us that the person we hire can thrive and be successful in this role. To do so, you have relevant experience:

Managing data-informed, high-impact marketing campaigns of varying scopes that achieve key business goals.

Researching customers in order to map out the nuances of a user lifecycle.

Writing and producing short-form and long-form product-related blog posts, videos, guides, and/or other types of content with various writing styles.

Defining go-to-market strategies and positioning products and brands.

Thinking out of the box for unique and creative ways to communicate product details with users across a wide spectrum of marketing channels.

Mastering SEO, traffic analytics, email analytics, marketing data dashboards, CMS, technical product specs, development workflows, support workflows, GitHub, and more.

Prioritizing several different projects with requests from multiple stakeholders to hit moving deadlines.
