  • We are looking for a Senior SDET who is a critical thinker and a powerful advocate for our users. You’ll be embedded in a fully cross functional team working closely with your teammates to determine what needs to be built, identify risks early and apply the appropriate test approach.

Senior SDETs At Collibra Are Responsible For

  • Work with different engineering teams to improve and evolve our test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
  • Identify test and quality challenges; Create innovative solutions
  • Build tools to make testing/release process measurable and transparent
  • Work closely with software/ test engineers and product managers across the organization to understand the context and drive automation and testing to meet objectives
  • Coach developers and other testers on good testing practices and techniques.

You Have

  • Experience with automation testing tools
  • Experience with Docker and K8S
  • Experience with observability, data analysis and monitoring tools
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code; Familiarity with tools like Terraform and Ansible is a plus
  • Experience with GCP, AWS, Azure is a big plus
  • Experience with microservices/distributed systems and the challenges they bring to testing is a plus

You Are

  • Passionate about quality
  • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Proficient in or open to learn Python, JavaScript, Go and/or Java
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience building test frameworks
  • Excitement about new technologies and provide mentorship and share knowledge with other engineers

Measuring Success

  • Within your first month, you will absorb fundamental knowledge about Collibra processes/tools and SDLC.
  • Within your third month, you will have significant influence shaping Quality Culture and development/testing processes around it.
  • Within your sixth month, you will be a productive member of the global Test Engineering team, reliably delivering quality code, participating in testing, coaching and mentoring developers and testers on effective software testing practices and team’s test strategy.
