Impact in this Role
- Develop code to implement new feature for Fictiv’ s software platform working with Product Managers, Architects and Engineering Managers.
- Write detailed technical design documents.
- Write code, tools, tests and automation with minimal errors. You will ensure that tests are
automated and new features are tested thoroughly before those are made available for Fictiv
customers to use. Will be the hands-on technical anchor for the technical team. - Responsible for architecting and designing software applications for Fictiv’ s software platform that can scale
well with the demands of the business. - You will ensure that the software architecture and design
that you produced is well documented and understood by your peers and senior engineers and
architects. - Help define and implement best practices for software development and help junior
engineers to get trained in those. Build end-end software applications using Node.js, GraphQL,
Postgres, AWS services or any other appropriate technologies as required to meet business
needs. - Identify and build tools, scripting, and automation to efficiently test, deploy and debug the
software. - Identify and implement technologies that might be appropriate for the changing
business needs of Fictiv, in consultation with management, architects in the company. - Build
software applications used by Fictiv customers, manufacturing partners and internal business
users.

Desired traits
- Position requires a Master's degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Computer Applications or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in
software development.
